On December 3, 2007, Mr. WU Hemin, Vice Mayor of Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province of China, led an economic and trade delegation for a friendly visit to the Pohnpei State of the FSM.

Ningbo, is the second largest city of Zhejiang Province, which is the sister province/state of Pohnpei State. China Ningbo Construction Group Co., Ltd is working on the Project of the Pohnpei State Administration Building funded by the Chinese Government.

Vice Mayor Mr. WU Hemin met with Governor Johnny David to exchange views on promoting cooperation between the two sides.

At the work-site of the Project, Vice Mayor WU Hemin was invited by Governor David to plant a coconut sapling together which symbolized the friendship between China and FSM. H.E. LIU Fei, the Chinese Ambassador also attended it.
