Ambassador Zhang Lianyun introduced the 18th National Congress of the CPC to President Mori

On December 19, President Mori and First Lady paid a visit to the Embassy. Ambassador Zhang Lianyun introduced the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China which concluded one month ago.
Ambassador Zhang said that the leadership of the Party was shifted in the Congress and Mr. Xi Jinping was elected as the new Secretary General of the Party, the master plan for the next decade was also adopted in the Congress.
President Mori thanked for Ambassador Zhang's introduction and expressed his congratulation on this successful and fruitful Congress, and his willingness working together with the new leadership for a higher-level communication and pragmatic cooperation with Chinese side.
