On January 6, 2025, H.E. Wu Wei, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the FSM, visited the construction sites of the China-aided Renovation Project of Pohnpei State Government Building and FSM National Convention Center Project respectively and conducted safety inspections.

Ambassador Wu Wei fully affirmed the achievements of the projects and requested to strengthen security management during the Spring Festival. Ambassador Wu Wei also extended New Year greetings to the employees on behalf of the Chinese Embassy and expressed gratitude to the project teams for their hard work in promoting friendly cooperation between China and the FSM.
