In accordance with Chinese laws and practical needs, in order to further facilitate personnel exchanges between China and foreign countries, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Federated States of Micronesia will launch the China Online Visa Application (COVA) system for visa application for China (Mainland only) since July 1st, 2018.

All the visa applicants for China (Mainland only) are required to complete the China Online Visa Application form on line (website: https://cova.cs.mfa.gov.cn), and print it out with the Confirmation page and remember to sign your full names. Then you need to submit your Confirmation page, COVA form, passport and other necessary supporting materials IN PERSON, except those holding diplomatic passports or under the age of 14 or above the age of 70, to the visa office of the Chinese Embassy in Palikir.

Since January 1st, 2019, Chinese Embassy in Palikir will no longer accept the visa application with the previous application form V.2013 or without a reservation online.
